Epson has released its first wide-format direct-to-film (DTF) printer, the SureColor G6070. Designed with garment decorators and print providers in mind, the 35-inch printer offers high-quality, detailed graphics on a range of materials.
“The SureColor G6070 is poised to dramatically impact the industry,” said Lily Hunter, product manager at Epson America. “It fills current production gaps, especially for intricate designs like chest logos, and boosts efficiency by allowing users to print hundreds of logos or pre-ordered designs on a single sheet.”
Equipped with Epson’s PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead and UltraChrome DF Inks, the G6070 delivers vivid, crisp prints with minimal maintenance, said the company. A front-loading design helps conserve workspace, while features like nozzle verification technology and an automated maintenance system ensure consistent, uninterrupted output.
The printer also includes Fiery Digital Factory DTF Epson Edition software for streamlined production and Epson Cloud Solution Port for real-time workflow monitoring. Epson believes its G6070 is a powerful, versatile tool for scaling up production with ease and reliability.
