Durst Group is finalising its merger with Aleph, with legal completion expected by the end of 2025. The merger will establish Durst Como as a global centre of excellence for digital textile printing – a move the company says will drive innovation and reinforce its industry leadership.
“Durst Como will be our innovation centre for the textile future – a hub that unites technology, software, and passion,” said Christoph Gamper, CEO and co-owner of the Durst Group.

Andrea Riccardi, head of product management graphics and textile at Durst
Andrea Riccardi, head of product management graphics and textile at Durst, will oversee centralised product management to ensure cohesion across the newly integrated portfolio. Key leadership roles at Durst Como include Alessandro Manes as director of global sales industrial textile, Roberto Manes as director of development textile, and Roberto Frigerio as managing director.
The first result of the merger will be unveiled at Fespa 2025 in Berlin, with the introduction of the Durst LF Series Graphics. These high-speed systems, evolved from Aleph’s Laforte platform, use water-based inks for both sublimation on paper and direct polyester printing. Notable innovations include a sticky-belt transport system for textiles and a patented vacuum-belt system for paper media, offering exceptional precision and quality.
With this move, Durst believes it has reinforced its position in textile advertising, trade show construction, and signage markets.
