Caldera has extended the support capabilities of CalderaRIP to work with Kornit’s Presto Max Plus and HP’s Latex R530 printer.

The Kornit Presto Max Plus is a roll-to-roll direct-to-fabric printer designed for versatility and efficiency. It gives its users complete control over on-demand textile print production, delivering results across a variety of fabric types and catering to textile markets. Customers can now use CalderaRIP version 18 with this printer, which the company says reinforces its commitment to providing robust solutions for large-format textile printing, further expanding its range of supported peripherals.

According to Caldera, the key features of CalderaRIP make it ideal for textile printing and include unrivalled colour management; a custom inkset module; Tex&Repeat, which streamlines pattern repetition processes to save time and maximise efficiency; and custom colour books.

On top of the support for Kornit’s printer, CalderaRIP has also been certified for use with HP’s Latex R530 printer. Designed to meet the evolving needs of the signage and décor industries, the R530 offers a compact and efficient solution for printing on various materials, including thin films, vinyl, and backlit textiles.

For users of the R530, CalderaRIP provides advanced colour management, prepress, imaging and processing tools for all types of indoor and outdoor applications. Fully scalable, CalderaRIP is ideal for both growing businesses and highly demanding production environments, explained the company. Other benefits, according to Caldera, include increased productivity, precise colour matching on all substrates and printers, and the ability to use one RIP to drive all devices.
