Fespa 2025, set to take place from 6-9 May at Messe Berlin, Germany, is poised to introduce new additions to its feature programme.
Among the new features debuting at this year’s event is SmartHub, located in Hall 5.2 at Stand A55 within the Personalisation Experience. SmartHub will provide both an exhibition space and a series of conference sessions that explore the latest advancements in intelligent manufacturing. Visitors can engage in the Smart Factory Trail, which showcases cutting-edge on-demand technologies that reduce waste and enhance operational efficiency. Notable partners confirmed for the Smart Factory Trail include Antigro Designer, Inkcups, Mimaki, Neolt, Polyprint, and Trotec.
The SmartHub Conference will run over the first three days, offering insights into the personalisation sector. Speakers include Deborah Corn, executive director of Girls Who Print; Kerry Sanders, vice president of marketing and new business development at EFI; Richard Askam, co-founder and COO of You Are The Star Books; and Gemma Mitchell, managing director of Paragon Dagenham, who will share actionable strategies for leveraging personalised print solutions.
Fespa’s head of global print expo Michael Ryan commented: “Our features provide our visitors with an opportunity to delve beneath the surface of imminent trends and challenges within the speciality print and signage industries. Our new SmartHub feature – which includes the Smart Factory and conference line-up – will encourage visionaries from across the print industry to enhance their knowledge on intelligent manufacturing.”
The event will also debut a new Pavilion area that highlights emerging signage technologies, including digital signage, LED, and software. This space will feature exhibitors like Fast Digital Publicate, Polarstar, and Verbax, presenting the latest in visual communication innovations.
Fespa added that each feature will provide expert and practical guidance for “Visionaries” across speciality print, textile and garment production, vehicle wrapping and more.
